Product Description

Three great fertilized chicken eggs to choose from! The Rhode Island Red is an American breed of chicken developed in the early 1900's and has a history going back to Rhode Island. The Golden Comets are one of three Modern Day Brown egg laying strains from hybrid breeding that produce fast body development and fast egg production.

Order 1 to 2 dozen eggs and pay $1.65 per fertile chicken egg.

Order 3 to 4 dozen eggs and pay only $1.55 per fertile chicken egg.

Order 5 dozen or more and pay only $1.42 per fertile chicken egg.

We have a 75% hatch rate but the actual hatch rate will depend on the experience of the person hatching the eggs. You will get (12) Fertile chicken eggs a mixed of Rhode Island Reds, (Ameraucana lay blue eggs) Golden Comets and Dark Cornish. These are not pure breeds they are mixed so you are going to have some pretty nice looking chicks when they grow to be chickens and you will get lots of eggs as these chickens are egg layers.

These strains will start to lay eggs at a younger age than most standard breeds and produce big brown eggs. Price is per dozen.

If this is a science fair project please keep in mind that we ship 5 business days after payment and you will need a minimum of 21 days for your chicks to hatch. Give yourself time and order your eggs early.
